Galatians 6:9 “let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven”.
Sometimes we are prone to become worried and more concerned when we don’t see results as at when we are expecting to see them. It may be that you have put in many efforts in making sure that the dream becomes materialize and the vision continues to strive but yet it appears to you as if no headway is being made. But do not become weary in doing good! Do not become weary in making sure that you do what needs to be done for the dream to become a reality and the vision to grow continuously.
It’s not always easy when you are building a vision from the scratch. It takes a lot of courage, determination, and persistence. I don’t know what your dreams are or what you have envisioned but do not become weary even when the situation or circumstances around you are not encouraging or sometimes, it may even appear as if the dream is taking too long to manifest or it could be that the vision is not gaining much impact as you expected, just keep moving, keep putting in your very best on it. Pursue the dream because your life depends on it, pursue the vision because you know the impact it will have on humanity.
Habakkuk 2:3 “for the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry”. Every God-breathed vision into the minds of man has an appointed time for its manifestation. When God showed Joseph through a dream of what is to come in his life, God never told Joseph the things that will befall him. Joseph was seventeen years old when God showed him that vision, but that dream came to pass at the age of thirty – nine! (but that dream took 22 years to materialize).
Joseph spent twenty – two years waiting for that dream to come to pass. In between that twenty-two-year period, thirteen years were spent in prison. This is more than enough reason for one to become discouraged, but Joseph held fast to that which God has spoken about him. He is not a man that He should lie! If He has said it, then it will surely be. Though it may tarry it will surely be! In prison, Joseph interpreted the dreams of two of Pharaoh’s servant and even told one not to forget him when he gains his freedom. After twenty – two years, Joseph was brought into the manifestation of his vision.
The vision God has given to you is for an appointed time, do not become weary about it, wait for it, believe the vision and you will see it come to pass. Joseph was in a strange land and locked up in a prison for thirteen years, a land where he had no father, mother or siblings nor friends to even encourage him. He became his own encouragement, he was God inside minded, drawing strength from the very words God has spoken to him. He sat in the prison envisioning the vision and the vision became clearer to him. He became more aware that God was taking him to the position of rulership and leadership void of what his brothers and father have spoken about him.
You will not always have friends, family around you to stir you up or encourage you, you must become your own encouragement, you must learn to draw strength from the words God has spoken to you, you must learn to draw strength from His Word. The vision becomes clearer as you wait for it. Waiting for the vision to manifest has nothing to do with you folding your hands and doing nothing. It means while waiting for the manifestation of the vision, you do things that put you in the position of seeing it come to pass.
Do not become weary, but when it appears that you are becoming weary, you must draw strength from the word. Let the vision dwell in you richly so that when you speak you speak the vision; the vision becomes clearer to you
